Adam, 28, has been the county’s top ranked runner for a number of years now and first ran and won the Southend 10K at the age of just 15. He now has 11 Southend 10K wins to his name, dipping under the 30 minute mark for the first time when winning the 2016 race.
Having represented Southend AC at both x country and on the road and won numerous other races at all distances up to half marathon, setting a number of local course records in the process, Adam has also represented Essex and GB on a number of occasions and earned several British vests, his first when he was only 16, finishing 10th at the European X Country championships.
Adam’s PBs include 13.41 for 5K (track), 29.03 for 10K and 64.41 for the half marathon.
Kerry, 28, has been one of the county’s top runners for a number of years now. Having run the Southend 10K a few times before, she finally managed to win her home town race in 2016 in a time of 37.59.
Having represented Southend AC at both x country and on the road and won other 10K races, setting a number of local course records in the process, Kerry has also represented Essex. Her course record of 37.00 set when winning the Billericay 10K still stands.
Kerry’s PBs include 29.52 for 5 miles and 37.00 for 10K.
